Eli Tomac has beaten the best of the best and looked superhuman, then the next week looks like a journeyman pro. He is the most exciting and enigmatic rider of this generation.

The Monster Energy Supercross series was flirting with the idea of adding a chase format after the boring Dungey era because racing had become somewhat boring. Eli Tomac single-handedly ended any talks of a chase format. I don't think the excitement he provided will fully be appreciated until years after he has retired.
